How to use SmartBot Web Bot Settings

Learn how to personalize your Web Bot to match your business branding

The web version of SmartBot is embedded on your website as a widget, so it's important to customize it according to your brand colors.

Within the Web Chatbot Settings, you can customize your:

  • Theme Color

  • Header and Chat Logo

  • Font Family and Color

  • Widget Position and Mode

How to access Web Chatbot Settings:


You can access the Web Chatbot Settings within the SmartBot Settings section.

Once in the Web Chatbot Settings, you can make various changes to drastically alter the appearance of the Web Chatbot and the widget. While changing the settings, you can preview the appearance on the right-hand side.

Within the Web Chatbot Settings, you can change the Theme Color by using the color palette or entering a hex code in the hex code field.

You can also upload an image (i.e. your business logo) to update the Header Logo and Chat Logo.

You can personalize your header text to add your business name, or change the text to say what you'd like.

​The font family and color can be customized using the font family drop-down and color palette, or again by entering the specific hex code.

For the Widget, you can decide on a Widget Position on your website, and a Widget Mode for how it will initially be displayed.

For Minimized position, you get additional settings for the Widget pop-up. You can edit the Widget button text meant to catch your guests' attention, and the Widget greeting text, which is the first thing your guests will read from the widget.

The Script is the code that you will copy to embed this widget in your website.
