How to configure Cancel as a keyword for Appointment Cancellations

'Cancel' can now be used as an ezConnect keyword for Appointment Cancellations

'Cancel' can now be used as a keyword for appointment cancellations within ezConnect, without opting guests out of any other communication.

'Cancel' is no longer a restricted keyword and can be set up to make cancellations quicker and easier for your guests.

By setting 'Cancel' as a keyword, when a guest responds with 'Cancel', the existing appointment with be automatically cancelled and removed from the Zenoti Appointment Book.


To configure 'Cancel' as a Appointment Cancellation keyword:


1. Launch ezConnect.
2. From the Options pane, select the gear icon (Settings).

3. In the Keyword to cancel appointment box, enter the word 'Cancel'

4. Click the + symbol.

You have successfully added 'Cancel' as the keyword for appointment cancellation.

NOTE: When setting 'Cancel' as a keyword for Appointment Cancellations, this will only cancel the guest's existing appointment. There will be no impact on any other guest communications when a guest responds with 'Cancel'.
