Yes, you can use the Messenger channel, but you can only map the Page to one single center and use that center to monitor all conversations.
3. What roles and permissions are required to connect a Facebook Page?
You must be assigned the Admin or Editor role for the center Page you wish to link with ezConnect.
4. Do front desk operators require a Facebook account to reply to guests?
No, front desk operators themselves do not require a Facebook account to reply to guests. Messages sent to the linked Facebook Page can be viewed and responded to in ezConnect.
5. Can we send images to guests?
Yes, you can send images to guests, and images that guests send to you via Messenger can be viewed in ezConnect.
6. Does autoresponder work if a guest messages a Facebook Page outside of a center's business hours?
Yes, autoresponder messages will be sent to a guest if they send a message to a connected Facebook Page outside of your business hours.
7. Can we send macros and saved responses as a reply to a Facebook message?
Yes, macros and saved responses can be sent as a reply to a Facebook message.
8. What’s the messaging window for Facebook messaging?
The Facebook Messenger channel has a 24-hour messaging window. When a guest sends a message to a Facebook page, you will have 24 hours to reply to them.
9. Can I start a new conversation with guests from Facebook Messenger?
No, guests will need to initiate contact with you in order to send them a message.
10. If an existing guest messages our Facebook Page, will ezConnect recognize if they already have a profile with us?
Yes, if the guest’s display name or mobile number provided matches an existing guest profile, ezConnect will notify you of this and give you the option to Merge with the existing profile.
