Learn about the user interface of ezConnect

Now that you know what ezConnect is and how you can launch it, checkout the various UI (User Interface) elements.

After you launch ezConnect, you will see the following homepage:

The homepage contains the following elements:

  1. Username

  2. Search Bar

  3. View guest profile / Create new profile

  4. Messages Pane

  5. Reply Pane

  6. Options Pane

Now let us look at each of these sections in detail.

1. Username

The username section displays the name of the user who has logged into ezConnect. Click the drop-down arrow beside the username to access the following settings:

  • Notification Sounds: Switch ON this setting to hear a sound alert every time you receive a text message from your guests.

  • Desktop Notifications: Switch ON this setting to enable desktop notifications for your browser.
    Note: You must configure browser notifications before you enable the above settings.

2. Search Bar

The search bar allows you to search for a guest by typing either the phone number or the name of the guest. The search results appear as you type in the name or the number. The search results will also display the center to which the guest belongs to.

3. View guest profile / Create new profile

When an existing guest messages you, you will see the name of the guest in this section. Click the name to view additional details such as available channels, upcoming appointments, and memberships. Click View Complete Profile to open and view the guest profile.

If a new guest messages you, this section will partially display the phone number. Click the “Add Guest” icon, beside the phone number to create a new guest profile.

Enter the following details:

  • Guest Code

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Phone Number – Auto populated

  • Referral Source

4. Messages Pane

This section displays all the incoming messages. It displays the phone number (new user) or the name of the guest (existing guest), along with preview of the text message.

Hover on the message to view the following options:

  • Mark as Read: Click this option if you want to mark the message as read.

  • View Profile: Click this option to view the guest profile.

    Note: View Profile is only available for existing guests.

5. Reply Pane

This section allows you to reply to your guest’s messages and contains the following elements:

  1. Messaging Channel: Switch between text messages and WhatsApp.
    Note: To send messages through WhatsApp, you must configure WhatsApp for your ezConnect.

  2. Text Box: Enter the message that you will send to your guests in this text box.
    Note: If you do not have enough text message credits, you cannot enter a message in this text box. Likewise, if a guest opts out of receiving transactional texts or notifications, you cannot enter a message in this text box.

  3. Saved Responses shortcut: Click this icon to access your saved responses.

  4. Send: Click this icon to send the message to your guest.

6. Options Pane

The options pane allows you to access the following features:

  • Messages: This is the default mode of ezConnect.

  • Saved Responses: Configure Saved Responses in this section.

  • User Management: Configure role-based permissions in this section.

  • Settings: Configure ezConnect settings in this section.
