New Guest Visits counts the number of unique guests who have their very first service visit during the selected date range, regardless of membership status. Each guest is only counted once for their first-ever service visit with the business.

Key Rules:

  • Excluded: Refunds, recurring invoices, automatic payments, freeze fees, and similar transactions. Guests who have previously visited, regardless of the item type or membership status.

  • Timing: Count is based on the sale date within the selected period. Guests who visited via appointment for the first time and did not have a membership at the end of that day are included under the legacy metric name "First-Time Guest Visits (Non-Member)" in EZ Pulse, but this version includes all guests regardless of membership.

Example - The number of invoices with the sale date in the selected time period. Multiple invoices on the same day by the same guest are considered as one visit. A visit can be for any item type. Refunds, recurring invoices, automatic payments, freeze fees, etc. are not considered as a visit. Also this would only be considered if this is the first visit every with the business for the guest
